    When Plankton Productions rebranded in 2008 I was asked to update their logo and redesign their website. Internationally acclaimed Emmy award winner David Hannan is Plankton Productions founder and leader. It was my responsibility to reflect their market position within the design to ensure it was a cut above the rest. I have been working for David Hannan and his team since 2003. Profile

  • CUBDHA Aged Care

    In 2009 the Gayndah Aged Care facility approached me to design their website, business cards and letterhead. The brief specified the need to make the site user friendly for older age groups. Being a rurally located organisation I was also asked to create a unique design that suggested "country warmth and hospitality". Photos used on the website were also my doing. The client remains very happy.

  • Tonic Outdoor Fitness

    Word of mouth referral resulted in an online enquiry from a Brisbane based start-up during late 2009. After discussing the client's needs and goals via email and skype I supplied a quality logo, DL flyers, business cards and a stage 1 mini-website including basic SEO. The website performs well in the Search Engines and has a good online enquiry conversion rate. Testimonial

  • Quay Street Physio

    Quay Street Physio needed their website redesigned to tie in with their new branding. I presented a strategy that included enhancing their existing design, recoding the site for improved Search Engine performance, eNewsletter marketing, minimal on-site SEO and traffic reporting to assist in measuring performance. After identifying their needs and website marketing goals I set about designing a site that would suggest "indie documentary", "natural and social history" and "educational programming".   • Bundaberg Blocks & Pavers

    In 2009 a Bundaberg local business sent me an online enquiry asking for an estimate price for a stage 1 budget website. I met with the client and upon presenting my written proposal and quote won the job. Using the clients existing logo I created for them a quality website that exactly matched their brief.     In 2009 NatureScape HD approached me seeking a unique brochure style website design with a bolt-on stock footage library solution. In order to achieve this I was also required to collaborate with US based FootageSearch who were already involved in the project. The end result was a pleasing website that integrates well with the FootageSearch stock footage catalogue and online sales tool.

  • Quality Care

    During 2010 Quality Care, a business based in Sydney and Hunter Valley region, asked me to redesign their interim website. Upon understanding both the client's needs and their customers' expectations I assembled a website design on budget to meet their blend of 'country hospitality' and contemporary website design spec. I also created an animated image slideshow for the website banner to further engage the audience. 1 call-to-action button was also included.

    New Age Markets are a Blue Mountains, NSW based client of To The Point Productions. During 2009 I was initially asked to setup an e-commerce system based on their existing website design. Since that time I've made extensive low cost conversion rate enhancing modifications and am now also supplying a SEO Strategy and website copywriting assistance which will further increasing sales.

    Chocolate Beige Designs enquired about a website redesign, SEO, Hosting and Social Media guidance during 2011.The aim was to more clearly communicate their websites messages and further enhance their online presence... subtly. Design concepts were supplied by the client and on-budget modifications were made by me. The end result was a very cost effective, Search Engine and people friendly website solution.

    Holloway Gallery are a client of To The Point Productions. In 2009 I was asked to assist with website design and development support for their Sunshine Coast client. Our task was to take the clients website design concept and turn it into a unique custom made website that matched everyone's expectations. The site includes several online galleries - all of which are simple to update.

  • Law Firm Website

    This website design was created for a website developer on behalf of a Brisbane Law Firm back in 2007 and is one of the older designs that I choose to publish in this portfolio. I started designing websites in 2001 so I have a large back-catalogue of older work. This website design simply remains in my folio because it's one of my personal favourites... which has something to do with the muted colours and the 2 purple outer columns which I designed to loosely represent 'the pillars of justice'.

* I create clean website designs unless requested otherwise. Clean design avoids unnesseccary page clutter which can often confuse your visitors, which then leads to poor website performance.


A Web Design Tip: Less is More!

Minimalism is one key ingredient if you are thinking about having your website designed or re-designed. A successful website design must be minimalist - 'less definitely is more'. Always keep a clear sense of purpose, and understand that if that is lost then your web design project will invariably turn out wrong or even fail. The same applies to your content.
